The Building (Scotland) Act requires that all electrical installations are carried out by a 'competent person' and that all works be carried out in accordance with the 17th Edition IEE and meet the standards set out by BS 7671:2001. Local authorities will have to be satisfied that a contractor is qualified accordingly.

John Hughes Electrical Contractors are continually assessed by the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) and are qualified to provide this level of service.

We have also been fully audited by the TIVA accreditation scheme which recognises very high standards of good business practices. We acknowledge our corporate social responsibility and have taken the necessary steps to ensure our carbon emissions are within acceptable levels. As a TIVA accredited supplier, you can trust our integrity with the added assurance that we will provide value for money.
